Join the Temple Israel community as people of all ages come together to perform acts of loving kindness through “hands on” mitzvah projects at Temple Israel. A wonderful opportunity for individuals and families to participate in Mitzvah Projects benefiting both the Jewish and broader Charlotte community, as we share in Tikkun Olam (repairing the world).
9:00 — 9:40 a.m. — Sunday Morning Minyan (family-oriented)
9:40 — 10:00 a.m. — Introduction and “Grab-n-go” Breakfast
10:00 — 11:30 a.m. — Mitzvah Acts (rotation every 20-30 minutes)
Fill your “Mitzvah passport” with participation stamps.
11:30 a.m. — Lunch will be available for purchase, courtesy of TI Men’s Club
Community Blood Center of the Carolinas will be on-site.
Note: Donors must present a current, officially issued photo ID to donate.
Sisterhood will be collecting new, or gently worn (washed) bras, new packages of underwear and women’s hygiene products for Mathilde’s Mentionables. Beneficiaries are the Salvation Army of Charlotte, Women’s Shelter, and Crisis Assistance Ministry.
