The 2017 African history course in Hidden Valley kicks off March 20th! Marcus Garvey said «a people without knowledge of their past history, origin and culture is like a tree without roots».
Our goal is to help educate our people about our powerful past which provides: knowledge of self, african cultural development and reconnection, economic wisdom, strategy and tactics for liberation and self suffiency applicable today, regaining power to self determine, restoring confidence and ambition, and much much more… Black history starts with African History!
The course will be 9 weeks every Monday from 7-830p at Mayfield Memorial Baptist Church who is allowing us to use their facility. Heavy snacks and food vendors will be available.
Bring your notebook, a friend and get ready to have a great experience regaining our power through knowledge!
